Into the Woods, a musical with music by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine.
You never know what's waiting on the journey in this enchanting and darkly funny twist on the Brothers Grimm. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. You may get your wish, but are you certain what you wish is what you want?
Join us for the fractured fairy tale that finds its "Happily Ever After"...and then keeps going.
First rehearsal: March 23, 5-8pm.
Rehearsals will be held at the Guthrie from 5-8pm four days a week, as well as 9am-12pm on two Saturdays.
Not every actor will be called for every rehearsal.
